Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation, part of the leading global financial services firm, Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., today announced the expansion of its team with the appointment of Peter Gombocz as Managing Director and Head of Electronic and Program Sales and Trading. Mr. Gombocz will report to Laurence Rose, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation.

Previously, Mr. Gombocz served as Senior Vice President, Global Electronic Execution at Macquarie Capital. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Electronic Sales and Trading at Canaccord Genuity. Mr. Gombocz has also held senior positions at E*Trade Capital Markets and TSX Markets. Mr. Gombocz holds a B.A. from Laurentian University.
