CLS shareholders elect four new board directors

CLS Group (CLS), the market infrastructure that enhances financial stability by providing risk mitigation services to the global FX market, announced that four new directors were elected to its Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting held on 21 April, 2015.

The new directors are as follows:

  • Peter Healey, Managing Director and Global COO, FX, Rates and Credit at UBS AG (SWX:UBSN). Mr. Healey joined UBS Group AG in 1994. He is responsible for multiple aspects of business planning, strategy formation, implementation and other operational matters. Mr. Healey previously served on the board of ISDA.
  • Ericka Leslie, Global Head of Regulatory Operations, Derivatives and Clearing Operations at Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:GS).  Ms. Leslie has worked at Goldman Sachs since 1996. She is currently responsible for implementing operational strategy and maintaining regulatory compliance across Goldman’s securities businesses. Ms. Leslie has previously served on DTCC’s Deriv/SERV board as well as its audit and nominations committees.
  • Steven Lieblich, Co-Chief Information Officer of Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS)’s Information Technology Division.  He has been with Morgan Stanley for 29 years and is a member of its Management Committee and the Institutional Securities Group’s Operating Committee. In addition, he currently serves on the technology advisory committees of FINRA and Red Hat.
  • Bruce MacLaren, Senior Vice President, Group Risk Management – Credit at Royal Bank of Canada (TSE:RY). Mr. MacLaren joined RBC in 1987 and is currently responsible for the risk management interface amongst RBC Capital Markets and the Canadian banking platforms. He is also the senior risk officer for the strategic management of counterparty risk analysis and credit approval for a number of business lines, including funds, broker-dealers, securitized conduit assets and US municipal finance.

With the addition of Mr. Healey, Ms. Leslie, Mr. Lieblich and Mr. MacLaren, the CLS Board now totals twenty-two directors, five of whom are independent and designated as Outside Directors.
