Forex broker RTFX surrenders Maltese license

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) today announced that it had accepted the surrender of license from retail Forex broker RTFX Limited.

The regulator notes that the broker surrendered its Category 3 Investment Services Licence entirely voluntary and that the decision does not result from any regulatory action taken by the MFSA. With effect from today – August 4, 2015, RTFX ceases to be licensed in Malta.

rtfx_logoRTFX Limited officially started its business in Malta in 2009, providing retail Forex services and later on expanding its offering to asset management services. Currently, the website of RTFX (https://www.rtfx.com) redirects to the website of Realtime Forex (https://realtimeforex.com), which continues operations.

There is a notice at the bottom of Realtime Forex’s website, though, which may attract investors’ attention.

We are currently experiencing some technical issues due to our major partner ceasing operations. We are fully aware that our automated tools are not functioning at this point and we are working to resume these services as soon as possible.
