Bybit Card Incorporates Apple Pay For Crypto Purchases

Bybit Card will reportedly enable clients to use Apple Pay when purchasing cryptocurrency. As one of the leading international cryptocurrency exchanges, Bybit indicated this would increase transactional safety, security, and privacy.

Based on PR Newswire information, users can use more than 20 fiat currencies to purchase crypto assets. The platform indicated it would charge no fees for these transactions between 17 June 2024 and 1 July 2024. The company stated that users can simply choose Apple Pay at checkout after selecting their cryptocurrency and fiat payment currency.

Customers can access this option on their iPhones, iPads, and Macs or via Safari on the web without having to enter data or create accounts repeatedly. Bybit said these purchases are secure because they require Face ID, Touch ID, or individualised passcodes and one-time security codes. The firm’s sales and marketing manager, Joan Han, commented:

We are thrilled to offer Apple Pay to our customers as a checkout option in the Bybit app or website, enhancing their payment experience with unmatched security and convenience. This integration represents a significant leap forward in our commitment to providing seamless, secure, and innovative financial solutions to the global market.
