Investing.com closes down its auto trading service for Forex brokers, SignalTrader.com

LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that popular retail trader website Investing.com has closed down its auto and signal trading service Signal Trader. The company’s signaltrader.com website has also gone offline.

Investing.com had launched Signal Trader back in 2014, but the service never gained much traction with either retail traders or with Forex brokers. The company had initially focused on getting Retail Forex brokers to offer the service. However beyond agreements with Australia-based brokers IC Markets and Core Liquidity Markets, and CySEC regulated broker FxGrow, we aren’t aware of any other deals signed by SignalTrader.

Signal Trader provided clients with an advanced auto-execution mirror system, allowing clients to automate their trading on Forex, Indices and Commodities, by mirroring the trades of prop traders, whose accounts were displayed in Signal Trader’s live trading rooms.

Signal Trader also provided clients with signal alerts based on the trading activity of prop traders, via email or on the charts displayed on each live trading room.

The auto and signal trading sector is a small but very competitive one, with incumbents such as Tradency and ZuluTrade having developed deep roots within the Retail Forex sector, which Investing.com was never able to overcome.
