Retail Forex broker FXPRIMUS, which in December 2014 obtained a license as a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF), keeps building its business in Cyprus. In fact, the company is seeing the country as the new home for its operations, as it has just announced the move of its headquarters to Cyprus.
The license (261/14) the company received in December last year gives it the right to offer a range of investment services not only in Cyprus but across all European Union member states. CySEC’s website also displays a list of 28 countries outside of the EU for cross border services.
In its announcement regarding the relocation of the headquarters, FXPRIMUS notes it has spent time and effort to develop its business in Cyprus. This includes searching for and hiring top FX talent. The broker took part at a CySEC-sponsored recruitment fair on June 24th, in an effort to find new employees in order to enrich its operations.
In May this year, LeapRate reported about a couple of additions to FXPRIMUS’ marketing team. Former IronFX marketing executive Helen Astaniou joined FXPRIMUS as Marketing Manager, whereas former EasyForex marketing executive Laoura Salveta became Head of Marketing.
