Investment and asset management giant BlackRock has reduced its shareholding in FXCM Inc (NYSE:FXCM) as reported by a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
On June 30, 2015, BlackRock concluded a transaction in which it took the number of shares that it owns down to 1,467,341 which represents 2.9% of the entire issued stock.
Prior to the transaction, BlackRock was the major shareholder which held the greatest ownership percentage in FXCM, which at March 31 this year stood at 3,718,491 shares, equating to 7.33%.
