New Zealand’s Financial Markets Authority has added one more entry to its list of unregistered businesses. The list comprises the names of companies that target New Zealand residents without having the proper authorization from regulators to do so.
The name of the latest addition is Tilney Asset Management, offering its services via www.tilneyassetmngt.com. The company is providing a wide array of services, including Forex trading.
The regulator is particularly concerned that “Tilney Asset Management is cold calling New Zealand residents offering financial services for which it is not registered, authorised and/or licenced to provide under New Zealand financial markets legislation”.
The watchdog recommends that traders do not invest money through this business.
