Bank of Russia announced today that it will be using the services of Thomson Reuters Corp (TSE:TRI) to publish information about the exchange rates of more than 100 currencies to the US dollar. The data will be published every day.
The move is in tune with a Bank of Russia’s circular, dated 14.01.2010, and comes after the ceasing of the relevant publications by the Financial Times on January 1, 2015.
The exchange rates for 2015 are presented as of 11:30 am (Moscow time). Data for the period from January 12, 2010 to January 1, 2015, refers to the exchange rate at the end of the respective day.
