Canadian regulator OSC issues warnings against binary options operators TNT Options and EveryOption

Canada’s leading securities regulator, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), has continued its recent crusade against unregulated binary options brokers.

The OSC has issued two new warnings against Romania-based Market City International SRL which operates as TNT Options (or tntoptions.com), as well as UK-based Rich Ventures Ltd. operating as EveryOption (or everyoption.com).

oscInterestingly, on its website EveryOption states that it is owned and operated by Fundsaver Services Ltd in Cyprus. We had previously reported that Cyprus’ financial regulator CySEC had also issued a warning regarding EveryOption / Fundsaver, stating that it is not regulated or licensed in the country. CySEC requires binary options brokers operating from the country to hold a CIF license, similar to other brokers holding client cash.

In both cases, the OSC stated that neither company is registered in Ontario, Canada to engage in the business of trading in securities or advising anyone with respect to investing in, buying or selling securities.

The current warning follows similar warnings the OSC has issued in recent months regarding other binary options brokers including Algo Capitals LimitedAmber Options and OptiCrown.

The OSC warning list can be seen here.
