LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that Forex solutions provider oneZero Financial Systems has experienced a number of outages since early last week. The outages have apparently affected a number of oneZero’s hosted clients. We have been told that one outage lasted over one hour, and at least three of the outages have been for over half an hour, the most recent occurring Monday of this week.
Apparently the outages have been caused by ISP issues, and are not related directly to oneZero’s own technology.
A number of retail forex brokers rely on oneZero for technology solutions such as server hosting, MT4 bridging and price aggregation. We believe that oneZero clients which use their ‘packaged’ or ‘turnkey’ services out of their Equinix NY4 DataCenter were affected by the outages.
oneZero CEO Andrew Ralich commented on the situation to LeapRate:
“Over the past eight days we have seen a number of Internet connectivity related issues in our hosted DataCenter in Equinix NY4. For clients who utilize our hosted services, we provide an all-in solution that includes our choice of multiple, redundant ISPs. We take responsibility for failures by our upstream providers. We hold our technology and services to a very high standard, and we are continuing to work very closely with our clients and ISPs to ensure we do not see any further connectivity issues.”
