Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX:S68) and the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), part of CBOE Holdings, Inc (NASDAQ:CBOE), today officially launched “CBOE Options Institute at Singapore Exchange (SGX)”.
Initially announced in July, “The CBOE Options Institute at SGX” forms part of Singapore Exchange’s SGX Academy. Classes start today, December 9, 2015, led by Russell Rhoads, Director of Program Development with The Options Institute and a known figure in the options and volatility space.
“The CBOE Options Institute at SGX” builds on CBOE’s options education expertise and SGX’s connectivity with investors across Asia. The Options Institute, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, reaches an estimated 40,000 investors annually. Its instructors conduct nearly 400 educational events per year, including classroom training at The Options Institute’s state-of-the-art Chicago facility.
CBOE Chief Executive Officer Edward T. Tilly said,
