KPMG, the Joint Special Administrators of retail Forex broker Alpari UK that went insolvent following the Jnauary 15, 2015 events, today confirmed that preferential creditors of the broker will be paid in full.
KPMG has already stated – back in August, when it released the First Progress report on the Alpari UK case, that all preferential creditors would be paid in full. Today the administrators officially declared a dividend to preferential creditors of 100p in the £ (GBP). This means that all agreed preferential claims will be fully paid.
In August, KMPG said that the amount of preferential claims will be between £100,000 to 300,000.
Preferential creditors should shortly receive a cheque in the post for their agreed amount. The JSA ask preferential creditors to wait until after December 11, 2015 in order to allow time for cheques to arrive before emailing them with queries.
