Longtime Caplin Systems exec and Singledealerplatforms.org blogger Paul Blank moves to TradAir

Paul Blank, a longtime executive of Caplin Systems and a highly valued markets blogger, has joined Israeli provider of eFX trading solutions TradAir as their new VP Marketing.

In his new role, Mr Blank is responsible for leading TradAir’s overall marketing strategy, including product positioning and overseeing new launches, and actively engaging with the market through traditional and new social media channels. He joins a business that has gained the attention of investors: early this year, TradAir completed a $15 million funding round led by Long Ridge Equity Partners in New York.

Mr Blank is known as FICC e-Commerce markets blogger, author of singledealerplatforms.org. He worked for more than eight years at Caplin Systems – from April 2007 to April 2011 he was Caplin’s Director of Product Marketing, and from April 2007 to June 2015 he was Director of e-Trading Solutions and Partner Manager.

Prior to joining Caplin Systems, Mr Blank was Product Marketing Director at OneSource Information Services. His previous roles also include Global Head of Product Management & Marketing at MMS International, as well as VP, Head of European Marketing at Instinet Fixed Income.

From 1993 to 1998 he was Strategic Business Development Manager at Bridge Information Services Ltd, and he held a role in Sales & Product Management at Cognotec from 1989 to 1993.

Mr Blank was FX trader with various banks from 1981 to 1989.
