Online trading services provider RoboForex Financial Group has announced its sponsorship of the Limassol Police Department football team, in a move underlining the attractiveness of various sports areas for FX marketing.
This particular football team was set up in 2011 to allow current and former policemen to participate in various charity initiatives and to fight stress after work.
At present, the team is participating in KOEP, a local nonprofessional league, and KOA tournaments for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Cyprus. Currently, IPA Limassol Football Team ranks second in the standings with 5 wins.
The broker says that sponsoring the participants of an amateur football league is its conscious step to help and promote local sport, which is, in the company’s view, a better way to invest funds than to conduct expensive advertising campaigns.
