Spanish regulator CNMV warns against FXMarker, Imperial Options

Spain’s financial markets watchdog CNMV earlier today added two more companies to its list of unauthorized entities targeting Spanish investors.

The latest additions to the warning list are Forex broker Green Investment House Corp. (also known as FXMARKER) and binary options broker LandMark Trade Ltd. (also known as IMPERIAL OPTIONS).

  • The regulator warns that FXMarker, operating from www.fxmarker.com, is not authorised to provide investment services, including investment advice in Spain.
  • The regulator also warns that Imperial Options, operating from www.imperialoptions.com, and providing an address in the BVI, is not authorized to provide investment services to Spanish investors.

Imperial Options has attracted the attention of regulators in the past. In June 2015, the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) warned that the broker is not authorized to offer investment services to residents of the Canadian province.
