TradeStation Group, Inc, the parent company of online securities, futures and forex brokerage firms and trading technology companies today announced that Salomon Sredni will retire as President and CEO and from the board of directors effective March 31, 2016 and that John Bartleman, President of TradeStation Securities, a licensed securities broker-dealer and a registered futures commission merchant, will succeed Mr. Sredni as President of TradeStation Group, Inc., and join its board of directors, effective April 1, 2016. Mr. Sredni is also retiring as COO of Monex Group.
Mr. Bartleman has been with TradeStation Securities since 1999 starting out as a product manager.

Back in February OANDA agreed to acquire the FX accounts of IBFX/TradeStation Forex. IBFX (TradeStation Forex) was the Forex dealer firm subsidiary of TradeStation Group, Inc. but decided on exiting the spot forex trading business. The transfer went official on March 4, 2016.

John Bartleman has been with TradeStation since 1999, starting as a product manager, then succeeding to several positions, including Vice President of Product Management then President of TradeStation Securities, and Chief Growth Officer and Vice President of Brokerage Operations of TradeStation Group. He has been central to the development and growth of the TradeStation platform offering that has differentiated the company from its competitors in the active trader market.
