Online trading services provider Amana Capital announced on Tuesday that it secured a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) and launched the operations of its new subsidiary, Amana Financial Services (Dubai) Limited, in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).
DIFC serves as the financial and business hub that connects the region’s emerging markets with the developed markets of Europe, Asia and USA.
Amana Capital’s other subsidiaries have already received financial licenses from regulators in the UK, Lebanon and Cyprus. The Group also has several representative offices in other countries, with the most recently opened one being in Malaysia.
Mr. Ahmad Khatib, CEO of Amana Capital, says,
