Japanese retail Forex broker FXTrade Financial (FXTF) today announces a spread reduction campaign on the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) trading platform.
The campaign will last from May 2, 2016 to May 31, 2016, and will affect four popular currency pairs: USD/JPY (US dollar vs Japanese yen), EUR/JPY (euro vs Japanese yen), EUR/USD (euro vs US dollar) and GBP/JPY (British pound vs Japanese yen).
During the campaign duration, the spread on USD/JPY will be lowered from 0.8 sen to 0.3 sen; the spread on EUR/JPY will be cut from 1.4 sen to 0.6 sen; the spread on EUR/USD will be reduced from 1.4 pips to 0.8 pips, whereas the spread on GBP/JPY will be cut from 2.4 sen to 2.0 sen. The broker notes that spreads may widen during cases of increased market volatility, sparked, for instance, by release of major economic news.
