Gain Capital Holdings Inc (NYSE:GCAP) institutional foreign exchange trading arm GTX has announced the hiring of David “Doc” O’Connor and Jean Darsses as senior sales executives to support its registered swap dealer.
GTX’s swap dealer provides agency execution services in spot, forwards, non-deliverable forwards, swaps, options in major and emerging market currencies.
O’Connor and Darsses both join from BTIG, LLC. O’Connor previously worked at Macquarie Bank, Unicredit, Societe Generale and HSBC. Darsses previously held senior FX sales roles at BNP Paribas and Barclays. Both join as Managing Directors, GAIN GTX, LLC.
They will be based in GAIN Capital’s Bedminster, New Jersey and Jersey City, New Jersey offices, respectively, and report directly to John Miesner, GTX’s Global Head of Sales.
