LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that FCA and CySEC regulated retail forex broker FxPro has begun a refreshing of its brand with a change in its logo for the first time in 10 years.
The main change to the FxPro logo has been the removal of the word ‘Forex’ from the tagline integrated into FxPro’s ubiquitous red logo. What used to read ‘Trade Forex Like a Pro‘ now reads ‘Trade Like a Pro‘.
Other than making those little letters under ‘FxPro’ look a lot more readable with less words there, the change underlines the move toward a much more multi-asset trading branding which several leading Forex brokers are projecting lately. FxPro still has the letters ‘FX’ integrated into its name, but other brokers have taken the multi-asset thing a step further by changing not just their logos but even their corporate brands and names. Recent name changes and rebrandings such as ThinkMarkets (formerly ThinkForex), easyMarkets (formerly easyForex) and AvaTrade (formerly AvaFX) come to mind.
For those of you with a keen mind for little details, you’ll also notice that the font in the FxPro logo tagline has been changed to a more simple rounded font, although the company has kept the main ‘FxPro’ font in the more business-like Times New Roman. Rounded fonts are easier to load, especially on mobile devices. Google itself made a similar change to its logo back in September, making it a lot more mobile-friendly.
