Sky News Arabia has announced the appointment of Nour Eldeen Al-Hammoury, a leading independent market strategist and analyst.
Al-Hammoury joins the broadcaster as a Business Analyst and Presenter, providing daily segments and offering in-depth analysis of the latest regional and global economic developments.
Prior to joining Sky News Arabia, Al-Hammoury spent over ten years as an FX analyst, treasury analyst and strategist for Amana Capital, Markets.com and most recently as Chief Market Strategist at ADS Securities.
We understand that Al-Hammoury left ADS Securities earlier this summer as part of a major cost-cutting effort at ADS, which is working to stem growing losses at its FCA regulated UK unit.
Commenting on the appointment on Twitter, Nart Bouran, CEO of Sky News Arabia, said:
Daily economic bulletins form part of our long-term strategic vision of offering a comprehensive and up-to-date perspective on markets, commodities and related financial services in the Arab world and internationally. We always seek to attract the best talent to Sky News Arabia. I am confident that Nour’s unique expertise will provide an added value to our economic news team and will help us further enhance our content and improve our competitive edge.
Al-Hammoury commented:
I am pleased to join Sky News Arabia, which has in a short time span noticeably advanced its position as a leading news organization with fresh and innovative economic bulletins. I look forward to building on the channel’s achievements.
