It has now been six weeks after the Swiss National Bank EUR/CHF free float shock-wave which roiled currency funds and FX brokers across the globe. One of the major casualties in Boston Prime Limited now has a special website setup from administrators appointed for it’s liquidation after folding in the wake of losses due to the swissy spike. Rollings Oliver, restructuring Advisors and Licensed Insolvency Practitioners based in London have been announced to handle the bankruptcy in a special section on the firm’s website.
The objectives of the Special Administration set out in the Investment Bank Special Administration Regulations 2011 includes, amongst other things, ensuring the return of client assets as soon as is reasonably practicable.
Following their appointment, the Joint Special Administrators are seeking to obtain relevant information to assist in the reconciliation of client positions and to facilitate such a release of client funds.
To assist the Joint Special Administrators with this, they will be writing to clients to request confirmation of the amounts due to them. At the same time, clients (and other creditors) will receive details as to how to make a claim in the Special Administration and by when their claim should be submitted.
- In order to provide you with information in relation to the Special Administration process and answer your queries as quickly as possible, the Joint Special Administrators have set up this dedicated webpage https://www.rollingsoliver.com/bostonprime
- AND a dedicated email address [email protected] to receive all emails from clients in relation to their claims. Clients will be provided with a password to access documentation held on the webpage and this will be updated when further relevant information becomes available
