51% of account logins at the leading Canadian brokerage are coming from mobile devices
Leading Canadian pioneering brokerage Oanda has announced last week the Chinese localization of its mobile trading platform fxTrade Mobile across iOS and Android. The platform is already established as one of the best in the mobile trading space providing an intuitive interface and top-notch news services and order execution. A free Dow Jones newswire in Chinese, Japanese, Russian and German is also available to the needs of the company’s live clients.
Vice-President of the company’s Product Management division Trevor Young has stated that as currency trading is moving away from the desktop to mobile computing devices as many as 51% of customer logins are now coming from the mobile FX trading platform and the percentage is even higher across Chinese-speaking markets. As the company has identified this trend it established the addition of Chinese language as a top—priority.
Other key additions to fxTrade Mobile 3.2.2 include advanced charting functionality, customizable charts in a range of different time frames and push notifications for entry, stop-loss and take-profit orders and price alerts. The application is free to download and can be accessed by demo users as well, who can register for an unlimited period practice account through the platform.
