Financial visualization platform TradingView has made some changes to the information available on charts.
Very important events are shown right on the charts, enabling traders to stay up-to-date without leaving the charting environment. This functionality can be configured via the Events & Alerts tab in chart properties. Traders can set chart either to show all events, or only coming events for their analysis.
The full calendar of events can be found in the right panel.
Depending on the color indicator, events can be:
- Red – very important;
- Yellow – important.
They also are highlighted according to the following logic:
- Light green – today events;
- Dark green – next event.
The latest improvement is released shortly after TradingView started offering easier access to the vast amount of stocks and other economic data from open platform Quandl, by making it available through a tab in the Search window.
