The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced that is aware that emails have been sent from the following addresses:
- fake emails sent from [email protected] with subject ‘FCA business update’ or ‘Blacklisted FX firms’ (9 May 2017)
- fake emails sent from [email protected] with subject ‘Overdue balance’ (9 May 2017)
- fake emails sent from [email protected] (21 March 2017)
- fake emails sent from [email protected] (5 January 2017)
- fake emails sent from [email protected] with subject ‘FCA Regulation 2017’ (16 December 2016)
The FCA warned once again that these emails were not sent by the regulator and recipients should delete all of them without opening.
