Earlier, Alina Sychova led the ECM department at Citibank, and also worked for more than 12 years at Merrill Lynch, where she was responsible for corporate finance, M&A and transaction support for EM financial institutions and issuers seeking funding.

Sergey Sukhanov, CEO of Otkritie Capital, said:
Continuous business development and strengthening of the team are among our top priorities. I wish Alina every success in her new role. I am confident that her professional managerial talents will help us build an efficient DCM/ECM department capable of achieving impressive results.
Alina Sychova commented:
I am pleased to lead the new department within Otkritie Capital’s global team. This also opens new horizons in terms of expanding our products and service range.
