Trading technology solutions provider TradAir has announced that it has appointed Viral Tolat as Chief Executive Officer.
TradAir co-founder Ayal Jedeikin was leading the company, along with other members of the senior executive management team, after the previous CEO Illit Geller decided to step down in June 2017. With Mr. Tolat’s being named CEO, Ayal Jedeikin will ‘move back’ to his previous role as CMO of TradAir.
The company said that Dr. Tolat will be working closely with TradAir’s current management team to take TradAir to the next stage of its technological leadership in the FX market.
Dr. Tolat joins TradAir from EBS, where he held the position of CTO between 2013 and 2017. Prior to EBS Viral was at Integral, the FX trading technology provider which he co-founded in 1993.
Viral Tolat holds post-graduate degrees (Ph.D. and M.S.) in electrical engineering from Stanford University, where he did research in the fields of computer architecture and artificial intelligence. He completed his undergraduate Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Miami.
