BME and Bankinter have announced that they will launch a new edition of “Trader Lab” on September 27th in Valencia. The bank launched this education initiative last year with the aim of expanding the financial knowledge of the general public. On this occasion, the laboratory focuses on spreading knowledge about futures traded on MEFF, BME’s Derivatives Market, a field that attracts the interest of many investors. To this end, both institutions offer a series of free sessions aimed at sophisticated investors in order to allow them to get to know these products in greater detail.
Through Broker Bankinter and in collaboration with BME, the bank allows trading experts with a high level of specialisation- whether they are clients or not – to attend the meetings scheduled in Valencia (September 27th), Barcelona (October 2nd) and Bilbao (October 17th).
To mark the end of this training initiative an event will be held in Madrid in January next year that will be streamed for all interested persons.
The meetings will be led by Rafael Serrano, Director of Equities at Bankinter and Enrique Castellanos, Head of Training at Instituto BME, and will consist of a lecture followed by a practice session simulating real-time trading operations.
The first edition of “Trader Lab” closed last year and was attended by 3,300 people, who received a series of in-person training sessions in such different cities as A Coruña, Alicante, Zaragoza and Madrid, as well as online sessions.
