SafeCharge, a Nuvei company, announced yesterday its entry into Slovakia and the Czech Republic and markets with Fortuna Entertainment Group, a betting and gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe. SafeCharge is also further developing their payment processing capabilities in other countries including Romania and Croatia. Fortuna can accept all standard, local payment methods specific to each country through a single integration.
The company developed advanced pre-deposit verification flows for credit cards and alternative payment methods (APMs) to comply with each country’s regulatory requirements. For customer verification, SafeCharge can securely validate the identity of players through their bank account details. Furthermore, the company configured intelligent risk management solutions to minimize risk of potential fraud and chargebacks. Automated Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks were also implemented before payouts.
