IG Group Holdings plc (LON: IGG) today announced the appointment of Breon Corcoran as the Chief Executive Officer. His tenure with the Group will commence on January 29, 2024, and is contingent on regulatory approval. Breon’s appointment follows an extensive global search process conducted by the Board.
IG Group Appoints Breon Corcoran as CEO, effective January
Charlie Rozes will continue to serve as Interim CEO and Group CFO until Breon assumes his role. Upon Breon’s arrival, Charlie will maintain his position as Group CFO and will remain a member of the Board.
Breon Corcoran brings a wealth of experience in leading multinational fintech firms and successfully executing their growth strategies. He served as the CEO of the payment company WorldRemit until 2022 and held the position of CEO at the FTSE 100 company Paddy Power Betfair until 2018.
Breon’s career journey began as a derivatives trader at Bankers Trust and JP Morgan.
