New Zealand financial regulator Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has issued a warning regarding Binary Options broker Stern Options, operating from website sternoptions.com.
Adding Stern Options to its “Businesses to be wary of” list, the FMA stated that it has received reports that representatives of Stern Options are cold calling New Zealand Residents.
Stern Options is not registered to provide financial services in New Zealand. The FMA recommends exercising caution before dealing with Stern Options.
Stern Options’ website states that clearing and billing services are provided by a company called BP1 LP, which also operates and owns sternoptions.com.
This is not the first regulator warning regarding Stern Options. Last month the FCA issued a warning that Stern Options has been targeting people in the UK.
