Canadian securities regulator the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) issued a warning against a suspicious entity named LM Swiss Direct Ltd.
LM Swiss Direct Ltd. purported to trade in binary options and was based in the United Kingdom.
The regulator recently became aware that LM Swiss accepted funds from a British Columbia (BC) resident for trading.
However, LM Swiss is not registered to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.
BCSC urges BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
