Aston Martin Red Bull Racing is officially the first Formula 1 team to agree to a special sponsorship deal with a major cryptocurrency, after announcing a partnership with FuturoCoin.
FuturoCoin is now the official sponsor for Red Bull for the 2019 F1 Season. This makes it the first team to have that kind of deal in F1 racing.
With the rise of cryptocurrencies, it is a major deal that an F1 team is partnering with a global cryptocurrency. The principal of Red Bull, Christian Horner, is thrilled that the company is the very first in Formula 1 to land such a cryptocurrency deal. He further commented that the blockchain technology and digital coins have become a truly remarkable market.
The co-founder of Future Coin, on the other hand, is also delighted to have the deal closed. He even compared Formula 1 and digital coins, saying that they are both technology-passionate, value speed and are ahead of time.
According to press, the CEO of FuturoCoin said:
We are very proud that FuturoCoin will be the first cryptocurrency in the world to appear on a Formula One car. In addition, we are looking forward to working alongside Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, a prestigious brand that is recognised across the world
