HBUS, the exclusive U.S. strategic partner of digital currency marketplace Huobi has announced today Megan Monroe-Coleman as Chief Compliance Officer.
Monroe-Coleman previously served as MTL Compliance Officer at Intuit, following the acquisition of Mint, where she was also a compliance officer. AT HBUS, she’ll be directly responsible for U.S. compliance functions and implementing comprehensive framework for regulatory compliance and risk.
Megan has extensive and proven experience in financial services companies as well as in FinTech,” said Frank Fu, CEO of HBUS. “She has helped guide high-growth Silicon Valley tech companies, which is ideal for HBUS as we become the top digital currency exchange in the U.S.
Before Intuit, Monroe-Coleman spent over seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leaving the company as a Director. Monroe-Coleman has over 15 years of experience in the compliance sector, with a focus on FinTech and the financial services industries. At Intuit, she developed and implemented the AML compliance programs for Mint and led the money transmission licensing strategy for Intuit’s regulated payments products. Monroe-Coleman graduated from University of Southern California with degrees in Political Science and French and has also held roles at Barclays Bank and Deloitte.
