The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) has just informed that it has become aware of an entity calling itself Bitcoin Revolution.
Bitcoin Revolution is operating via the website https://the-bitcoin-revolution.org/, as well as several other websites.
The company links its website to local personalities without their consent, falsely claiming they made profits via Bitcoin Revolution’s website.
The MFSA warned that no person is currently authorised under the Virtual Financial Assets Act (Chapter 590 of the Laws of Malta) as at today.
Bitcoin Revolution is not registered, licensed or authorized in any way by the MFSA to provide any investment or other financial services under Maltese law.
The regulator suggests that Bitcoin Revolution is likely to be an international “get-rich-quick” cryptocurrency scam.
