BnkToTheFuture, a global online investment platform for FinTech, Bitcoin and Blockchain companies, has announced a partnership with Polymath Inc. to improve liquidity for investors who have invested in the equity of some of the most valuable companies in the Bitcoin, Blockchain and FinTech sector.
Through this partnership, Polymath will introduce its pipeline of projects to thousands of accredited investors on BnkToTheFuture’s platform. BnkToTheFuture will also explore using Polymath in order to tokenize some of its equity holdings in Bitcoin and Blockchain companies so they can be traded in a compliance-driven way as BnkToTheFuture gets ready to launch its secondary market in 2018. More than 100 companies have received equity investment from BnkToTheFuture, including BitFinex, BitStamp, Kraken, ShapeShift, and BitPay.
Through the vision and leadership of its founders, BnkToTheFuture has carved out an important niche in the investment marketplace space,” said Polymath CEO Trevor Koverko. “We’re excited for this partnership that will allow us to work shoulder-to-shoulder on introducing the pipeline of projects that choose to launch on Polymath to BnkToTheFuture’s thousands of accredited investors.
A partnership with Polymath will allow us to tokenize a portion of our existing portfolio of Bitcoin, blockchain and FinTech companies, ensuring our investors have easier access to liquidity through our compliance-driven and blockchain-based secondary market trading platform built with securities laws in mind,” added BnkToTheFuture CEO and Co-Founder Simon Dixon.
BnkToTheFuture offers the largest online investment platform for investing in the equity of FinTech, Bitcoin, and blockchain companies as well as Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) that have passed a stringent due-diligence and compliance process. The company recently raised an initial $30 million for its tokenized equity market and due diligence platform, and will open its public token sale on February 6, 2018.
Polymath is a decentralized platform that enables projects to easily issue security tokens by connecting them with smart token developers, legal delegates, and KYC/AML verifiers. The Polymath protocol provides issuers the ability to restrict transfer and ownership of security tokens through whitelisting based on KYC and accredited investor status.
