LeapRate Exclusive… ISAM Capital Markets, the parent company of IS Prime, announced exclusively for LeapRate that it is expanding its Agency Execution business and bolstering its team in Sydney through the appointment of two senior financial markets professionals, Angus Malone and Cal Portway.
Angus Malone
Angus Malone has 15 years’ experience at Macquarie Bank, progressing from trainee dealer through to Director and Global Head of Interbank Sales. During his career at Macquarie he worked in a variety of sales and trading roles in Sydney, New York and London.
Cal Portway has over 20 years’ experience in the financial markets, predominantly focused on FX and emerging currencies across the APAC region. He has been employed by a range of institutions including RBC Sydney, TD Singapore, SEB Singapore and CIBC HK, where he was Director of FX Spot Trading.
Prior to joining IS Prime Australia, Angus Malone and Cal Portway were joint Managing Partners at VIA FX, an independent Sydney-based Voice and e-FX Agency. They are ideally placed to drive IS Prime’s agency execution business forward across the APAC region.
