Eurex enhances European ETF ecosystem with new product

The ETF is the first managed futures UCITS ETF available in the region.

The company said the fund is now listed on Euronext Paris and will soon be available on the London Stock Exchange in sterling.

It mirrors the US-listed iMGP DBi Managed Futures Strategy ETF, which is managed by DBi, a specialist in hedge fund replication. The European ETF trades under the ticker DBMF:FP.

The firm explains that the alternative strategy aims to replicate the pre-fee performance of a basket of leading managed futures hedge funds, offering investors a cost-effective way to access the strategy.

The European Active UCITS ETF market has been growing steadily in recent years, with the products considered a next-generation portfolio tool.

iMGP plans to launch more active UCITS ETFs in the coming months, leveraging its experience in the US market.

Philippe Couvrecelle, Founder and CEO of iMGP, said: “After several years of offering actively managed ETFs in the USA, we are delighted to bring this offering to European investors.”

Andrew Beer, Co-Founder of DBi, added: “Managed Futures ETFs are becoming a big thing in the US, so we are proud to partner with iMGP to launch DBMF:FP in Europe.”
