Canadian regulator BCSC warns against MetaProTrader

Canadian regulator British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) has recently issued a warnings against the company MetaProTrader.

MetaProTrader purports to offer an online trading platform and seems to be based outside Canada.

The regulator has become aware that MetaProTrader has accepted funds from a British Columbia (BC) resident.

However, MetaProTrader is not authorized to trade in, or advise on, securities or exchange contracts in BC.

BCSC urges BC residents to exercise caution when dealing with firms that are not registered to trade or advise in BC.
