The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that has launched a new podcast “CFTC Talks” today with special guest Acting Comptroller of the Currency Keith Noreika.
CFTC Talks is the new podcast that’s geared towards providing information about the commodity markets, futures trading and other information about conditions in the U.S. and abroad affecting the markets.
CFTC Talks is emblematic of our effort to make the CFTC a 21st century regulator and facilitator of knowledge as it pertains to the markets we oversee,” said Chairman Christopher Giancarlo. “I look forward to the upcoming discussions on CFTC Talks and gaining additional insights into the markets we regulate.
Hosted by Andrew “Andy” Busch, CFTC’s Chief Market Intelligence Officer, the inaugural segment focuses on banks, regulations and the biggest risks for the banking system.
Future segments will feature a wide range of guests from market participants, government agencies, economists/analysts, technology experts and CFTC staff who will clarify and enlighten listeners on the markets the CFTC regulates and issues impacting those markets.
In this first episode, Acting Comptroller of the Currency Keith Noreika joins Andy to discuss key issues surrounding the U.S. financial system.
