The Cyprus regulator CySEC has announced yesterday that it has decided to withdraw the CIF licence of a company named MPS Marketplace Securities Ltd.
The licence is suspended in whole as there are suspicions of an alleged violation of section 10 of the Law and the section 93(1) of the Regulation.
According to the regulator, the alleged violation may cause concern and risk relating to the protection of MPS Marketplace Securities Ltd.’s clients and constitute a threat to the orderly operation and integrity of the market.
During the suspension, the company is prohibited of carrying out investment services/activities, as well as entering into any business transaction with any person and accept any new client and advertising itself as a provider of investment services.
