Retail Forex broker Alpari Limited just announced that from June 27 2017, for ecn.mt4, pro.ecn.mt4 and ecn.mt5 accounts, trading on the following instruments will be limited to “Close Only” (positions can only be closed) mode: XAGAUD, XAGCHF, XAGEUR, XAGGBP, XAUAUD, XAUCHF, XAUEUR, XAUGBP, XPDUSD, XPTUSD, EURTRY, GBPTRY, TRYJPY and USDTRY.
The XAG are gold pairs, the XAU are silver pairs, the XPT are Platinum pairs, and the TRY pairs are Turkish Lira.
Alpari didn’t give any reason for the suspension of trading in these instruments, but shared that will notify again when the trading functionality on these instruments has been fully restored.
