LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that FCA regulated retail forex broker GKFX has hired Hannah Hill as its new Head of Public Relations and Brand.
Ms. Hill is a well known Forex industry figure. She worked most recently in the London office of Israel-based retail forex broker eToro as Head of Brand Marketing, helping eToro build up its image as a social trading network.
Prior to joining eToro in 2015 Hannah Hill was Global Head of Marketing at Alpari UK. She has also worked in marketing and communications roles at London Capital Group Holdings plc (LON:LCG) and at CMC Markets Plc (LON:CMCX).
GKFX is continuing to build up its presence in London. LeapRate exclusively reported back in November that GKFX had raised $8 million to back an aggressive expansion plan, with controlling shareholder Kasim Garipoglu, a 31-year-old Turkish investor and Internet entrepreneur, and CEO Serkan Arli putting in most of the money. The company also hired former Oanda UK VP Sales Brian Myers as Managing Director, to work alongside Mr. Arli in growing the business.
Brian Myers, Executive Managing Director at GKFX told LeapRate about hiring Ms. Hill:
Our current success lies in our people. I have an exceptionally strong team all over the world committed to industry leading customer service, operational excellence and stability for our clients and partners. Hannah, with her broad experience of this space, is a welcome addition to the team.
Hannah Hill told LeapRate:
I’m excited to be joining such a great team at GKFX and am looking forward to driving the brand forward, exploring new opportunities and building on the strong foundations of the company.
