LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that FCA regulated FX and CFDs broker ActivTrades has added Patrick Storey as an independent director on its Board.
Patrick Storey is a Chartered Accountant and a Founding Member and Senior Partner of Grant Thornton’s Financial Services group, and head of its regulatory team. Mr. Storey has 30 years’ experience with Grant Thornton working in the financial services sector, specializing in governance and the practical implications of regulations for banks, lenders and other financial institutions.
Mr. Storey is also a director of consumer finance companies Think Money Group, and Morses Club plc.

Controlled by Founder and CEO Alex Pusco, ActivTrades saw Revenues grow by 11% in 2016 to £34.9 million (USD $45.0 million), with Net Profit of £12.8 million. As recently as 2012 ActivTrades’ Revenues were just £14 million. ActivTrades also has a strong capital base of £39.5 million (at year-end 2016), plowing most of its earnings back into growing the company.
