ADS Securities Hong Kong Limited (ADSS Asia) has announced the appointment of Jacob Wissum as its Chief Administrative and Compliance Officer. He will be a member of the ADSS Asia management team.
He will be reporting directly to Francis Lee, CEO ADSS Asia, who commented:
Jacob will provide the senior leadership and management experience to our back office and Compliance functions making sure that ADSS Asia has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, people and systems in place. He will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in Asia to ensure that our financial services activities are aligned with our legal and regulatory obligations. He will also enable the team to deliver the strategic objectives of the company amidst an evolving and challenging external environment.
Jacob Wissum brings over 10 years-experience in the financial services industry to the role. He has acted as legal counsel for a number of large European banks and was the APAC Head of Legal and Compliance for SAXO Bank in Singapore. Jacob Wissum joins ADSS from Bovill Asia (HK) Ltd, a firm which provides specialist financial regulatory consultancy services, where he was head of their Hong Kong office.
Wissum will be based in the ADSS Hong Kong office. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Laws from Aarhus University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Laws from Copenhagen Business School.
