Breaking news… LeapRate just learned that there has been a change at the top of OANDA. The CEO for OANDA Global Corporation Vatsa Narasimha is stepping down from its CEO position for personal reasons, as an OANDA spokesperson just shared with LeapRate.
Vatsa Narasimha will continue working for the company as a Non-Executive Director, as he’s done a tremendous job for the business, the spokesperson explained.
The company is already in search of a new CEO.
Last year, Vatsa Narasimha joined LeapRate for an interview, giving us all the details on the sale of OANDA to private equity firm CVC Capital Partners.
Originally the firm’s CFO and Chief Strategy Officer, Narasimha joined OANDA from The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked with leading financial institutions all over the world on a variety of growth strategy, corporate development and operational issues. He’s been in the company for almost 6 years.
