The data intelligence company Thasos announced earlier this week that has added Chris Metaxas to its team as Chief Revenue Officer.
Prior to Thasos, Metaxas worked in Digital Recognition Network (DRN), a location data and analytics company, where he was a Chief Executive Officer for nearly 7 years. At DRN, he grew revenues, created new markets and led the organization until its acquisition by Motorola for $445 million in 2019.
He also used to work for LexisNexis, MetaPartners LLC, as well as he was one of the founders of Con Edison Communications, a Metro Optical Communications company and wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Edison of New York.
Thasos recently teamed up with Bloomberg and FactSet.
Thasos has evolved since its inception in 2011 to become the industry’s leading alternative data intelligence company in geolocation,” said Greg Skibiski, Thasos Founder and CEO. “As we continue the momentum from our recent partnerships, we are thrilled to have an innovative leader like Chris join our growing team to help take us to the next level.
Metaxas added:
Thasos sits at the intersection of data, technology and finance, and it’s exciting to join a team that generates innovative and actionable intelligence for investors and companies. Thasos’ expertise and demonstrated growth potential are just two of the reasons why I am excited to come aboard.
