Almost a year ago, Mushegh Tovmasyan, founder of Divisa UK (now part of the Equiti Group as Equiti UK), handed over his duties as Director of the company to Equiti Group’s CEO, Iskandar Najjar. Back then, Divisa Capital / Equiti Group founder Mushegh Tovmasyan has joined institutional cryptocurrency startup XTRADE.io as a strategic advisor.
Tovmasyan, however, continued to support the company as a member of the Equiti Group executive committee.
Towards the end of Q4, Equiti Group had officially completed the rebranding of its UK entity as part of its global growth strategy. With the timely conclusion of that transition, Mushegh Tovmasyan had fulfilled his commitment to the Group and was ready to bow out of his final role at Equiti Group at the end of 2018 to pursue investments and other business interests.
Iskandar Najjar confirmed that the move was mutually agreed since the 2017 acquisition and said:
Mushegh’s contribution to the group has been invaluable. I would like to thank Mushegh for all his sincere efforts over the past couple of years and wish him the best of luck in the projects he is about to pursue.
Commenting on his time with Equiti, Tovmasyan said:
I am thrilled that the Group made giant strides in record time and, more so, that I got to be part of it before the time came for us to part ways. I truly wish everyone at Equiti Group continued success.
The company showed strong financial results in 2018, including significant growth, expanding network of offices in the Middle East, North America, Europe, Africa, and the Asia Pacific regions, as well as an FCA financial services license, Jordan and Kenya licenses.
