LeapRate Exclusive… LeapRate has learned that CySEC regulated retail forex and CFD broker GBE Brokers has hired FX industry veteran Jaymes Payten-Marsh to a newly created position of Global Head of Marketing.
Mr. Marsh joins GBE Brokers in Cyprus. He was previosuly Marketing Director at FxNet, and Head of Marketing and Communications at FXTM.
GBE Brokers, whose management is split between Cyprus and Hamburg, Germany, is an MT4 broker which launched in 2012 by founder Rifat Sayim, who had been Head of Sales for Germany’s Varengold WPH-Bank AG.
Beyond its offering for retail clients, GBE Brokers is also gearing up to launch a liquidity and risk management service for other brokers, called GBE Prime.

GBE Brokers’ Managing Director Rifat Sayim had the following to say about hiring Jaymes, and what else is going on now at GBE:
GBE brokers is now at an important juncture in its history as we have been operating for just over two years, therefore in my eyes, we have left the ‘start-up’ stage and moved on to cementing our position as an FX and CFDs broker that is fully dedicated to the betterment of its traders. One of the defining aspects of us moving forward is the appointment of an experienced marketer, which we now have with the appointment of Jaymes Payten-Marsh as our new Global Head of Marketing.
The creation of the GHoM role was designed to support GBE brokers’ expanding global footprint, and to fill the role, we interviewed quite a few candidates. It was however, Jaymes’ dedication, experience, personality, and above all, his vision of where he sees GBE brokers within the next two years, and more importantly, how he plans to get us there, that was the defining reason we brought him into our team. There aren’t too many marketers that can do what Jaymes has done in relation to bringing in new business in the FX industry, and we are so excited by his appointment. He has already begun to build a marketing team of what he calls ‘Conversioneers’, and we’re already seeing tangible results from Jaymes and his team of Conversioneers. We will be adding other key personnel to our team in the near future too, which shows our intention of moving forward and making a true mark in this industry.
Jaymes Marsh added about his new role:
It’s been a pleasure working closely with the GBE brokers Management Team, and I’m super excited to be here as I already feel like it’s home. The great thing about GBE brokers is that it’s a small, tight-knit FX firm that knows where it’s been, and where it’s going. I have also been given the autonomy to implement my own marketing mix, which includes strong content and social media marketing for the expansion of our brand. We have a new website in development and the future at GBE brokers and its sister company, GBE Prime, is definitely bright!
I’ve been given the opportunity to take a real hands-on approach and build my own team, which is something I absolutely love doing. Finding young, talented and hungry marketers and then shaping them into professional marketers is a real passion of mine. I’d like to thank the entire team here at GBE brokers for welcoming me, and I promise them all, as well as our clients, that a lot of fun times, hard work and graft lies ahead, but with it, comes true success!
